I am a competitive cyclist and a professional cycling coach. After training and racing full time for many years, I returned to school to study Kinesiology. Since graduating I have continued to race and now coach others to push and challenge themselves to the limit. In my younger years I did not understand the importance of rest and recovery. I was constantly overtraining and getting sick. I learned the hard way, through trial and error. I now know that rest and recovery is half the battle.
